PhD Thesis Defense by Araz Rezavand Hesari

We are pleased to announce the PhD thesis defence of Araz Rezavand Hesari, a doctoral candidate at Heki within the framework of the Tr-Francis project. The presentation, entitled “Study of the flow phenomena inducing vibrations of a Francis turbine under no load conditions”, will take place in English on Monday, October 28, 2024, in room 1168 of the optics and photonics building at Université Laval.

The thesis jury will be formed by Prof. Yvan Maciel, thesis director, as well as Prof. Sébastien Houde (Heki), Prof. Mathieu Olivier (Heki), Dr. Berhanu Mulu (Vattenfall Research and Development AB), and Dr. Arthur Favrel (Hydro-Québec).
