New publication by Mélissa Fortin

Congratulations to Mélissa Fortin for the publication of the last paper written as part of her doctoral project. She presents a numerical study about the effects of cavitation on the rotational speed of a Francis turbine’s runner at no-load operating conditions. This paper, entitled “Numerical investigation of the influence of cavitation on the runner speed at speed-no-load and runaway for a Francis turbine of low specific speed” and published in the Journal of Fluids Engineering, is the result of a collaborative project between the Heki Center and Andritz Hydro.
